DESCRIPTION:Exactly two years after they last visited Pukekohe the Black Sticks Women will play three tests against their Indian equivalents at Rosa Birch Park in May. \nThe last time they stopped by they were building up to the Rio Olympics and they took on a CMHA invitation team as part of their warm up. \nBut this time it’s real. \nThe Black Sticks will play the first three rubbers of a FIH sanctioned five test series against India\, the first game is on Sunday May 14th. \nThe Mark Hager coached team is currently 5th in the world rankings and was one place off the podium at the Rio Olympics. \nIndia and NZ didn’t meet at the 2016 Olympics because India was on the other side of the draw and they didn’t get through to the knock out stage. \nCMHA President\, Peter Van Breugel\, is delighted that Hockey NZ came knocking. \n“It’s a big tick for our association”\, he said. “HNZ has endorsed our organisation and facilities and as a bonus we can bring world class women’s sport to Pukekohe”. \nWomen’s Black Sticks v India- Match Schedule \nGame One — Sunday May 14th Pukekohe- 3pm \nGame Two– Tuesday May 16th Pukekohe- 7pm \nGame Three — Thursday May 18th Pukekohe-7pm \n
