The Pukekohe Indian Netball team was first established in 1991 and played in the Auckland NZISA tournament. This team consisted of Tania Jeram (Captain), Kelly Hari, Jayna Jonkers, Vicki Waters, Delaine McCort, LataNaran, Wanita Jonkers, Jodie Hari and Jenny Hari (Coach).Netball Team 1992 Small

Pukekohe won the tournament for five consecutive years playing in Auckland, Pukekohe, Palmerston North, and Waikato. Seven members of the team have been together from the start. The sport was affiliated in 1993 to NZISA and has become increasingly popular. Originating from two teams in 1989 and progressing to six teams in 1994, they include Auckland, Pukekohe, Waikato, Central Districts, Wellington and Christchurch. Prior to affiliation, netball was played socially.
